Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we sat down, the service felt rushed and unwelcoming. Our waitress acted as though we were inconveniencing her rather than customers dining in the restaurant. The food was even more disappointing. My omelet, bacon, and home fries all tasted like they had been cooked in old grease, leaving an unpleasant flavor throughout the entire meal. Everything seemed heavy and lacked freshness. For a place known for bagels, I was also surprised that the bagel itself was underwhelming and did not stand out in any way. Overall, between the poor service and the quality of the food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and makes improvements.

Quality and consistency are starting to severely fall. This is my fourth bad experience in a month and I’ll probably stop going. 1. Bagel with cream cheese requested to be toasted… often comes out doughy and untoasted. What kind of rocket scientist can’t tell when a bagel is toasted vs not? Does that need a training program? It happens all the time. 2. Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are not made to order. The freaking egg WAS COLD and I ate it right outside. They must have a pile of cold fried eggs they reheat. 3. The price on the receipt is always less than what’s actually shown in my CC statement. I don’t know how someone in the transaction is skimming a few % on every transaction there. It’s only at this restaurant. The poor execution and additional charges warrant the low rating. When it’s good, it’s pretty good, but they just keep falling short on the simplest things. Will take business elsewhere

If I could give them a six, I would. Going way out of my comfort zone, because I love to cook, I trusted Bagel City to prepare my holiday dinner this year. Everything was delicious! Quality ingredients without having to hide under inordinate amounts of salt, sugar and additives. Generous portions and well prepared. From pick up to table, a perfectly satisfying experience.

Considering this place boasts that the owner's family invented the bagel. It's quite the fall from grace that they feel proud to sell whatever you want to call these little things. Shriveled, decrepit, small, easily half the size they should be and ugly to look at. Who would want to buy these? They also charged as though it was a regular bagel. It was a pick up so I didn't know till I got home and they should be ashamed. An honest joke. There are much better places locally and while it's a little bit further for me I'll take that risk.

Although I have bought bagels from here several times (and it is my favorite bagel in SoFL, as shown in my Bagel Bastard series), I’ve never actually eaten in the restaurant until today. The menu encompasses breakfast/diner stuff with curated Jewish deli classics. We had lunch with a visiting friend from the DC area; we had a hard and soft salami sandwich combo (with rye bread baked on-premises) and a legit matzo ball soup; my wife had a off the frame turkey melt (perfect well done french fries) and our friend had a “Veggie Tuna Platter” with a bagel. And of course, we brought a dozen home.
